Grindmaster-Cecilware is a global brand that manufactures beverage and foodservice equipment. Formed from a merger of two corporations, this single entity now needed to consolidate and unify all of the marketing, advertising, and sales materials.
Summa Creative was asked to design the first comprehensive product catalog, integrating the separate foodservice and beverage price lists. This piece was to set the new standard for all upcoming collateral — presenting additional promotional copy, detailing features and benefits for each product family, and showcasing product photography and informative graphic spreads.
And, we were given a month to get from vision to print-ready files.
Summa Creative was given the OK to start designing on 1 November, and on 6 December we turned the files over to the printer to meet a New Year’s delivery deadline. The final catalog was 180 pages plus cover, CMYK +1 PMS, and a complete success.
Epilogue: The year after publication of the newly designed catalog, other giants in the same industry released their catalogs with a remarkably similar look and feel.
